Are you a work at home mom? Here are some creative and inexpensive advertising ideas to get the word out!

Leave your business card or catalog on the dresser where someone will be able to see it when you are staying at a hotel.

When dining out, leave your contact information and business card with your tip- this always generates good leads for my friend who is in her top district in direct sales!

Make contact bag’s. Take a couple of small plastic bags and put inside your business card, samples or catalog and hand them out everywhere you go, at the grocery store, doctor’s office your child’s school!

Set up a booth at a festival held through your local church or organization. Tables are relatively inexpensive to rent for a couple of hours.

Advertise locally! Place an ad advertising your business in your local newspaper or consider joining your local chamber of commerce! Or advertise in your local yellow pages these always tend to generate good leads!

When advertising your online business look for search engine advertising, these are usually free with the exception of a free link exchange. Some major search engines also offer free website submissions.

Join a top 100 list, a top 100 list is a free listing of popular sites, these are free to join and great ad exposure and a great way to learn about other business’s that may interest you!

Network with other work at home moms by joining message board. A message board is a great way to meet other work at home moms in your exact situation!
Purchase a business magnet for your vehicle advertising your business or consider getting a special license plate made up.

Join a job fair, this is a great way to meet potential new contacts.

Find out if you can add your information or ad to your local Welcome Wagon group handout.
